About
Artefacts donated by village residents past and present reflect life in the village through the ages as do the maps and pictures dating back to the 1800’s.
A collection of uniforms, maps and orders include military service details of WK residents who fought in the World Wars. The books of remembrance can be viewed.
We have an amazing birds’ egg collection, a hand loom, farm implements, Ayrshire white work, toys and many reference books. There are Victorian parlour and kitchen settings.
Frequently changing specials displays add to the interest as does the DVD compiled from the museum’s photo collection. Something for everyone!
