
Our Heritage Centre in Saltcoats is our main museum in North Ayrshire and houses the majority of our artefacts and art collection.
Featuring an exciting and varied exhibition schedule, a small reading library and various events: there is something for everyone and entry is FREE.

Services
The museum has printing services available on request from the front desk.
We can help with Treasure Trove artefact finds and with object research and identification.
We are also happy to consider object donations for our collection.
Facilities
The museum has free public Wi-Fi throughout the building.
Free public toilets are available which include baby-changing facilities. (The key for the toilets is available at the front desk. Please just ask a member of staff)
The museum has free seating throughout (including a small reading library) and also has a water dispenser.
We also have a defibrillator in the building.
Accessibility
The museum is all on one level and is fully wheelchair accessible.
There is a very small incline as you enter the building.
Getting Here
North Ayrshire Heritage Centre can be reached by car, bus or train.
If travelling by car, FREE car parking is available behind the Heritage Centre or at the large shorefront car park.
There is a bus stop just outside of the Heritage Centre and Saltcoats train station is a 5 minute walk away.
