Mrs Mathieson Galbraith, Almond Bank, West Bay, Millport, has received a telegram from her son, Kenneth, who has been a prisoner of war in Thailand since the fall of Singapore, saying he is in India on his way home. Kenneth, who was employed on a rubber plantation was due leave shortly after the war broke out. It is close on eleven years since he went away.
