Fifth son of the late Mr and Mrs John Quinn, 55 Fullarton Street, Irvine. Brother of J. Quinn, 102 McKinlay Crescent, Irvine.
Additional information: A runner, Dan Quinn was chosen to represent Scotland four times in internationals. He won the Tailteann marathon at Dublin, 1924. He was a member of the Garscube Harriers team, Glasgow, which won the National Cross-Country Championship twice. Prior to emigrating to Australia in 1927, he was a member of Dundonald Parish Council.
