This is a fantastic opportunity to learn more about one of the oldest historic sites in North Ayrshire. Built around 5,000 years ago, it is older than the Pyramids in Egypt and in 2025 we installed a new interpretation board which tells the story of the tomb.
The Haylie Neolithic Tombsters, of which Gordon Black is a member, care for the tomb on a voluntary basis. They maintain the land and make sure the tomb is clean and tidy for visitors.
Don’t miss this opportunity to learn about this fantastic historic site in North Ayrshire from someone who is so passionate about it!
