Our latest exhibition ‘Bound by the Sea’ is now on display at our Heritage Centre in Saltcoats.
The exhibition explores how the Three Towns of Ardrossan, Saltcoats and Stevenston each developed their own distinct identity whilst remaining closely tied through the Merchant Navy. And also how these seemingly modest towns launched shipping empires and produced generations of brave Merchant Navy sailors whose courage sustained Britain through peace and war.
The exhibition runs from the 1st of June until the 31st of August and features a wide variety of objects and digital content for you to explore. Entry is FREE and we are open Monday, Tuesday & Wednesday and the last Saturday of every month. 09:30am – 1pm & 2pm – 4:30pm.
