We have a brand-new exhibition at our Heritage Centre in Saltcoats and it’s all about fashion!
We are going back to the 60’s and 70’s for ‘They Wore It So Well’, an exhibition which celebrates the fashions from those two decades. The exhibition features a lovely variety of dresses, shoes, handbags and coats and it’s all from the collection of the Dalgarven Mill Museum of Country Life & Costume.
As always we are open each week, Monday, Tuesday & Wednesday. We are also open on the last Saturday of every month. Our hours are 9:30am – 1pm & 2pm – 4:30pm.
The exhibition is running until September so be sure to pop along and see it before it goes. We’ve already had quite a few visitors talking about their own memories and fashions from the time (and a few dreading seeing 90’s fashions ending up in a museum…).
