We have a good variety of sports represented in our collections. As you’d expect, football features highly there and some of our favourite sporting items are the Saltcoats Victoria commemorative spittoon and the ornate Ayrshire Challenge Cup.
We have lots of examples of season tickets, some more than 100 years old, sporting equipment and prizes giving a sense of our unique sporting history in North Ayrshire.
